These resources have been curated in response to the mass demonstrations organized by the Movement for Black Lives  calling attention to police violence and systemic racisim that have turned violent because of outside agitators and militaristic policing. Many have remained peaceful in spite of efforts to the contrary. For those who’ve been witness to, or victims of violence, immediate processing of trauma can help alleviate the long term manifestation of PTSD symptoms. Black people and POC are already at enormous wellness disadvantage because of institutional racism and surviving white supremacy culture. Please be well, all. As Audre Lorde said, (paraphrased) our self care is also a political act.
