What change in the world would you like to see through the work youʻre doing?

My vision is for women to feel nourished and nurtured in the way they treat themselves and as a result be able to live lives filled with love and passion in their relationships, families, and careers. When I work with women, we create a toolkit of intensive self-care rituals and tools that fit their individualized needs in order to care for themselves regardless of their current life dynamic.

Briefly describe the journey that brought you to the work you are doing today.

After being divorced for almost 7 years, I was ready to make some changes and open myself to the idea of a new relationship and career. I hired a self-care coach that I worked with for 4 months. During that time, she helped me to break old self-sabotaging habits and to create new rituals around self-care and self-love. As a result of those changes, I was able to launch a new career and have met an amazing man that is now my husband!

What or who inspires you? Why?

My daughter inspires me daily. She knows who she is, uses her voice, and stands in her truth every day. She has dreams and puts in the dedication and work towards them. She’s also aware of her stress and anxiety and knows when she needs to step back.

What is your greatest personal or professional challenge at the moment? How are you working to overcome it?

I was a single mom for 8 years and just got remarried 6 months ago. In addition to gaining a husband, I gained 2 step daughters and am now expecting what will be our 5th child. I have had to relearn what self-care looks like with all these additional people needing me and with the creating a little human. I feel like I have found a pretty good balance but it has taken some time and I know that I will continue to make adjustments and when the baby arrives!

What advice would you give your 18 year old self?

Don’t try to become someone. Be who you were made to be.

What is most rewarding about the work that you do?

I absolutely love working with others to live their best life every day! Once we learn to practice daily self care rituals that include listening to what our mind, body, and spirit needs, we look forward to each and every day. There is no challenge that we can not tackle as an opportunity for growth. Seeing others thrive and grow in their personal journeys fuels my spirit, too!
