Welcome to the Spring 2021 flagship class of our Facilitators Academy course! This course is designed to teach an effective model for community impact and capacity building. The goals involve training facilitators for deep dialogue, healing, and effective collaborative decision making between and within community organizing spaces to accelerate impact. Throughout, we will do deep dives into sometimes complex topics and explore opportunities to consider ways in which the topics intersect with your own leadership journey. Class #1 touches on Land Acknowledgements, Big Idea #1 – The Tale of Two Paradigms: Myopia & Mutualism, Transformative Space Intentions and Accountability.
